First Snow Day favorite

Each year, we celebrate the first day of snow with a good, long romp around in it, and then a steaming cup of homemade hot cocoa. Yesterday was no different!   This is the easiest thing to make, you could forever be rid of Swiss Miss!  We drink it all winter once every couple weeks or so...

Hot Cocoa  serves 4-5

In a saucepan, add the following, then heat to boiling for 2 min.

1/2 c. sugar

1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder

dash of salt

1/3 c. hot water

After boiling, add the following, and heat to drinking temp!

4-5 cups of milk

3/4 t. vanilla

I'm telling you, you'll abandon hot chocolate packets forever.  :)
