chalk it up to my great husband

A couple years ago, some good friends gave us a big slab of plywood they had painted with chalkboard paint, but didn't have a use for anymore.  We've had it leaned against a wall in our family room since then... until Jeremy got the idea to make it look really nice and fancy for me!

He cut it down, grabbed some extra trim we had, painted it to match our newly repainted kitchen and here it is!!!  He just installed it last weekend in the dining/kitchen, and we all love it.

The boys dream of having the day's menu posted.

The girls just want to color.

And I love to-do lists, Bible verses, and other kinds of inspiration.

Plus, anything that will keep a busy 3 year old occupied for nearly an hour wins my vote!

Nicely done! great job to hubby! Congrats on Gabby's adoption! Hooray for God. We are still waiting for 3 more months then we have legally had her for 2 years and can file for citizenship then. Meanwhile her visa status doesn't allow us to do anything else. So in 3 months hopefully we will have all our money saved and can get it all finalized in the US! YEAH
